Dr. Kelly Meador

Dr. Meador joined Cole Park Veterinary Hospital as a doctor in 2015. Prior to that she worked as a veterinary assistant at the practice (way back in the day when the practice was located in Cole Park Plaza)! Her history with Cole Park Vet is part of her commitment to the practice. “The staff and veterinarians at CPVH played an important part in shaping me as a Doctor.”

Dr. Meador is a North Carolina native who began her post high school education at East Carolina University and then transferred to NCSU for an undergraduate degree. She was accepted into the NCSU School of Veterinary Medicine and graduated in 2007.

Our newest doctor, Meador has special interest in geriatric care, preventative care and education, soft tissue surgery and pain management. She loves caring for the animals, and says “the satisfaction of knowing that I have helped my clients and my patients is what drives me. I am driven by helping to ease the suffering of a hurting pet and also providing comfort to the patient’s caregiver.”

The owner of five pets (two spirited dogs, a fat cat, and two crazy pigs) and the mother of a two and half year old son leave Meador little time for outside recreation, but she is thrilled to be a part of the Cole Park family. Says Meador, “I am overjoyed to return to Cole Park. Next time you are in I would love to meet you!”
